Creating a Marketing Campaign: Spotify

As a part of my Advertising and PR Class, we had to create a marketing campaign based around a brand. As I have worked with Spotify for other posts, I chose to continue that trend with this assignment as well.

For this, we were tasked to use AI and create a campaign, so I centered mine around Spotify’s slogan, “music for everyone.” My idea is centered around a teenage girl, looking for new music but finding nothing. To highlight their slogan, the girl goes through her friends accounts, finding one with playlists based around K-Pop. This highlights Spotify’s togetherness and ability to share music at a distance. The final post in this case would showcase them listening to the same music, but in different places.

Visual one

This one showcases a sad teenage girl, looking for new music, as what she is currently listening to isn’t inspiring her in any way. The caption for this post would be, “Feeling stuck in a music rut? Open Spotify and find your new favorite tunes—just by exploring what others are listening to. Music for everyone, wherever you are!”

Visual Two

This one showcases the same girl, seemingly happy, after looking through her friends account and finding new music through her friends taste. The caption for this post would be: “Why limit your playlist to just one city? Dive into global hits, from K-pop to indie jams—Spotify connects you to music around the world!”

Visual Three

Finally, the last one showcases the two girls, listening to the same music, in different places, both happy and inspired. The caption for this one would be: “Music brings us together, no matter where we are. Share your favorite songs and discover what the world’s listening to. Because on Spotify, music really is for everyone.”
